Reasons I'm excited for this weekend (alphabetically)

  

Ballard Day. Tomorrow KEXP will broadcast live from The Sunset Tavern in Ballard for the Hood-to-Hood party. There will be concerts in different business throughout the day, including Dave Bazan playing a show at 7am, and several stores are giving membership discounts, so don't forget your KEXP card!


Bellingham. I'm going to visit Austin and Kelly this weekend and cash in on my Christmas present-- a massage and dinner. Also, we're going to see Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Jack Sparrow, you never get old. (Or do you?)

Bridesmaids. Can't wait to see this movie. Hopefully Friday afternoon? Also want to see...

Everything Must Go. starring Will Ferrell. The film is based on a short story by Washington's own Raymond Carver.


Festivals. I'll be out of town, but I'm still excited about all the festivities happening in Seattle. This weekend is the U District StreetFair and the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF).*

Haircut. Getting one.
