Light and Magic

My friend Spiro just gave me these photographs from 2006. I love them. Each photo holds such a remembrance and story, and when I look at myself in these pictures, I see a younger, just-beginning Brie. 

2006 was my first year in Seattle, my first year sharing a house with friends, my first year at university, and my first year in therapy. Those beginnings made for a year of light and magic where everything felt charged and alive with possibility.
